BACKGROUND:
Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.0415 the Town Council (and or designee) may report on the following items: (1) expression of thanks, congratulations, or condolences; (2) information about holiday schedules; (3) recognition of individuals; (4) reminders about upcoming Town Council events; (5) information about community events; and (6) announcements involving imminent threat to public health and safety.

Westlake Academy end-of-year events including:
• Middle school and high school Awards ceremonies, May 21st at 9 am and 1 pm Gym
• Senior Banquet on May 21st at 6 pm Bowden in Keller
• Baccalaureate on May 22nd at 8 am Gym
• Senior Clap out on May 22nd at 9 am
• Senior Awards on May 22nd at 9:30 am Gym
• Brick laying on May 22nd after senior awards
• 5th grade awards on May 23rd at 8 am Gym
• Graduation on May 24th at 2 pm Hurst Conference Center
Fire Station Open House: Around 500 people turned out. Great weather
Spring Concert: 130 people showed up. Rescheduled due to weather
Gala Update: Westlake Academy Foundation raised nearly $390k, including $100k in teacher’s grants, $80k in student study hubs, and $120k in teacher/staff gift cards.
